From Smokey's Staff Page!!!!

Kent's real job is as a general dentist in East Hempfield. When he isn't doing state of the art cosmetic dentistry, he can be found diving with state of the art dive gear from Smokey's. "Dr Deco" has continued his own diver education with certifcations in advanced nitrox, staged decompression, trimix diving and cave diving.

Kent, like most of the instructors at Smokey's, is a Master Scuba Diver Trainer- able to teach all levels of diving from Open Water through Divemaster in addition to most of the Specialty Diver courses from PADI. Dr. Deco enjoys sharing his knowledge of technical diving through the PADI specialties of Enriched Air Nitrox, Drysuit Diver and Deep Diver. He recommends Peak Performance Bouyancy for any diver who wants to improve his underwater skills.

When he's not diving the local quarries, look for Kent to be cave diving in Florida. He also is a regular off the coast of New Jersey doing wreck diving with several different charter boats. There is usually space available, so contact the shop for charter destinations!
